Why do they feel they need to use them? If people are scripting, it's because they found a problem and a way to get around it. They still have to send their own attacks too!ĭreakinn, there is a middle ground between where we're at and "the game playing itself." I'd start with the most popular scripts. When the front line is being hit non-stop (or close to it), that's difficult to manage. You still need to spend huge amounts of time SORTING through those, figuring out what's real and what to do about it. We've been playing for almost 1.5 years in our world and our front lines would have hundreds of attacks every day. As your number of villages increase, your time commitment does too. But not across all their villages, all the time. But it still doesn't address farming, sniping, attacking, construction, troop builds, troop allocations, defenses and spying with DOZENS of villages.Īny player who's played for a bit, even with minimal experience can do all those things. World speed would change things and possibly help. That's 24/7 if you want to be front line and stay competitive. As an RTS, you have to be available when stuff is happening. But nothing said so far addresses the issues of managing large numbers of troops and villages without spending huge amounts of time. Maybe add in crown for completing each tutorial. Make it a longer tutorial that really deep dives form basic to advance tips. In game tutorial is garbage doesn’t teach anything other than barracks build troop. New player maybe play in a server for x amount of time against non-player, short lived server get them use to the game (but to late now when they rarely get any new player). Faster building allows you to learn the mechanics. Your pits would probably produce more then you can spend, don’t log into the game for 1-2hrs come back pits alone may max your ware house. 2 weeks barbs are at least 2.5K meaning 3-5 farm run you’re mostly max warehouse. ![]() It’ll even feel like an RTS due to the speed.
